Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Ringtal ("Service"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Ringtal provides a shared phone number service that allows teams to make and receive calls and text messages through a single phone number. The Service includes call routing, text messaging, voicemail, and communication history features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Ringtal, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or make harassing calls
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Transmit malware or harmful content
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for illegal telemarketing or robocalling
  • Violate the rights of others, including privacy rights

5. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the TCPA and all other applicable telecommunications laws. This includes obtaining proper consent before sending text messages or making calls for marketing purposes.

6. Pricing and Payment

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Prices are as listed on our website and may change with notice. You agree to pay all fees associated with your account. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.

Credits

Your subscription includes a monthly allocation of credits for calls and messages. Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Additional credits may be purchased as needed.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Ringtal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RINGTAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ringtal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
